Meeting My Buddies

After two weeks I posted on missing my buddies.. 2 days ago, I got a phone call from one of them - Nasir. The very last time he smsed wuz a month ago when he wuz about to attend for interview. He got the offer and has started working since then, and guess what.. ?? His employer wuz also our classmate during our secondary school. And today, Nasir make a surprise call - he's around town & suggest that we meet up.

I reached our meeting point - KFC restaurant, ha ha Nasir jokingly said that's the only place he can afford with his first month salary.. The moment I entered the restaurant, I dunno how to describe my feelings. We had not met for almost 13 years, and suddenly we're meeting again. Though today I only met Nasir and his boss, Hud - our ex-classmate, but M really happy for the meet up. M a bit shy at first, but feel more comfortable later. We talked about our old good times, about our other ex-classmates, teachers and school. Hud said, the meet up has brought him back to his school time memories... U R pretty right, Hud.. I will always remember U as a little boy wearing 'songkok' to school but now in front me is a grown man, who now is a daddy to one kid.

From the meet up, I gather some info where our friends are now. And seems most of our classmates were into business world - corporate man. Hud himself is an owner of his IT company, Awie wuz really the corporate man - owned a chain of optical shops - Menara Optical.. I can't imagine this boy has now turn into corporate life. Aiza, mother of 4 now teaching in Muar, Rosli Ahmad into construction business, Mokhtar now in Klang Valley, Rodzaah in Perlis, Ogie married to doctor, Zah shud be somewhere in Penang - Zah, where R U now, Asri he he.. still in Muar. Hud told me Asri's daughters had big eyes.. I think they sure look like him, got the shares of Asri's eyes.. which has made me dying b4.. LOL.. ha ha.... M I...??

Nasir said he plan to hold a reunion for our classmates.. WOW ! That is a very brilliant idea, Nasir. I look forward for this reunion, which plan to be held somewhere in Klang Valley. You better, start drafting the agendas and calling all our friends.. Probably a reunion after Raya is an appropriate time.. Ohhh... I can't wait for that moment !

Missing My Buddies

I wuz on my way to work while the Mix FM deejays - Shaz & Richard on the topic on 'cheating during exams'... Few callers called in and tell their past histories on how they cheat during their test or exam. One to the extend of doing it during his SPM and this smart guy don't want to reveal his name as he fears that one of his Uni friends or lecturers may report to his Uni.. and retract back his degree.. LOL !

I too have my past history cheating during my tests.. Thanks God, it's only during my monthly tests hik hiik.. in fact it's not me alone.. but me and my group LOL !!!! Aiza, Zah, Nasir & me... we're very close when we went for our Form 1.. we chose our seat next to each other.. Nasir wuz the Class Monitor.. but wuz very sporting.. Our papers all were objectives questions & the answers were only A, B, C, D, & E... so we have created signs to represents these ABCDE... And evry months.. the 4 of us will always be the Top 4 in the class... hah haa... and got a chance to A class the following year.. (we were in B class before)...

Ohhh Dear..... !!!! Now I start missing all my buddies.. Aiza - now a primary school teacher in Muar, married to our senior's brother and blessed with 4 kids.. Hardly believe this sweet, soft-spoken girl who's interest on needleworking today is a school teacher.. I believe by now she's not soft-spoken anymore. If not sure, her students hardly hear what she teaches in the class !!

Zah... this sweet petite girl.. almost every boys are dying for her.. she wuz from a different primary school, but so happened when we were in the same class.. seams that we (4 of us) can clique to each other.. I dunno where on earth she is now.. the very last time I heard she wuz in USM, doing her degree.. According to Nasir, she's married to her Uni boyfriend but dunno where she settled down.. Cud it be Penang, Muar or probably she's here in Klang Valley.. Hope to stumble upon her one day..

Nasir.. I always pity this boy.. oppss... now grown to be a man hik hik.. I remember we're closed eversince I move to Muar.. He's the youngest among 3 siblings.. As far as I remember, his life is pretty saddenend... If M not mistaken, his parents either wuz separated or passed away since he's still small. They (he and his 2 other sisters) wuz raised up by his grandma.

Actually we (me & Nasir) have lost contact for almost 13 yrs.. the very last time I met him during my final year at Segamat where he wuz a teaching in one of the primary school. Suddenly I happened to bump into my sister one day & request for my contact no. It wuz really surpised when he contacted me back.. But it wuz really sad when he told me how his life goes on.. Just wish him a good luck and managed to get a job. My heart sank down, imagine at this age - 36 years, he did not have any job to hold on.. He keep on passing over jobs, and lucky that he still single..

My wish now.. hoping to meet Aiza, Zah & Nasir in person again in future.. Dear friends, I really miss you alll... !!!
