Bored @ Work

I dunno how to describe what I feel right now, but what I know is I feel bored at work. It's not M feel bored bcoz I sat alone here in this room far from the rest. I think I can cope well with being alone, as this is my working life for past 15 years.

I guess the best way to describe it is : I feel bored with my boss, with my work, with this company and it seems there's no way out. It's like a curse working here, and now I understand why there are sooooo many 'dead woods living' around here.

I want to make a move, I want to breathe a freezer air. I do feel guilty for coming to work, juz doing my job with less than 50% sincerity. My work been stacking day by day, by M juz too lazy to finish them. And I do feel guilty also for stacking my work. Thing becomes worst when I was served with my 1st ever WARNING LETTER in my employment history, 3 weeks ago.. Gosh !!

Any advice dear fren..??

I went for another interview couple of weeks ago @ Philleo 1. This expatriate (lady COO) needs a PA to help out in the office.

The moment I entered NKVE via Bkt Jelutong, gosh !!!! the traffic really pack !!! Ohh how am I to deal with this traffic daily.

I've been to Philleo 1 b4, but come one I didnt find how to enter this building. Goshh... !!! Ring.. ring.. my phone rang, the HR gal called to check out whether I will attend the interview. Been round n round, until I found d perfect parking.

I got to wait for nearly 1/2 hr after filling up the application form b4 I finally met the COO. As expected, I was asked why I want to make a move after 11 faithfully years here *sigh*..

This COO make a remarks thou I have 15 yrs experience in secretarial line, I have ZERO experience as PA to the top management. Heyyy.. it that a big deal ??? Anyway, I guess I gotta d result on d spot - I am UNQUALIFIED for that PA post. Gosh !!!

Maidless !!!

After a long one month leave, finally my maid said SHE'S NOT COMING BACK. OMG !!! I juz burnt my 8 days current leave last year juz to take care of d kids while my maid enjoy her balik kampung trip. Althou I've a strong feeling she's not coming back, I try to be positive she's not like other maids in my neighbourhood who did not turn up after their balik kampung. Ermmm.. seems, all Indons are the same.

Life is a bit haywire right now.. with me working & managing the house. Of course dear darling do lend his hands to do some house chores, but still not enuf. Romeo is taking charge of laundry of the day, supervising his brothers in between their KAFA & secondary school. Baby continues at nursery after her kindy session. Baby has changed a lot recently, she refuse to go to school in the morning.. She will cry and cry, saying she didnt like to stay at the nursery. Lucky, one of my neighbour agreed to look after her starting this Feb.

Thou it really hectic, M glad I got my house back.. my kitchen, my kids.. M still sourcing how to simplify doing house chores, so that I could have more time to spent with dear darling & the kids and my hobbies.

By who..??? Who else...??? By 'beloved' boss laa..

Last year end and this early year, wuz among d saddest moment to me in my employment history. My bonus was slashed for 0.75 months from what I usually get yearly. Come to 2008 increment, I got 3.6% increment compared to the average in my dept - 4.7%

So sad.. and the more I want to move out !!

Why They Didn't Consider My Applications

Urgghhhhhhhhhhh... it's been months when I aggressively submiting my resume to many companies. Out of 179 applications I submitted, I've attended 6 interviews and DID NOT received any offer yet. Why.. why.. why..????

I tried to analyze back my resume & application letters, is there something wrong some where. Izzit my grammar, izzit my qualifications not strong enuf.. izzit my expected salary too high..?? A friend commented that my photo in the resume, looks very relax - not professional enuf. Doesn't reflect a pro Exec Secretary. Ermm.. probably !

After my recent interview, I think I know one of the reason why I did not get any offer yet. M lack of experience ! No doubt I been in this secretarial line for almost 16 years, but I have only 11 years experience reporting to HOD, not a top management. Other than that, the salary that I requested is quite high (izzit it..???). To me it's fair.. I juz ask for an additional rm200 from my existing salary. At one thought, it may not worth. For the additional rm200, I may get more tasks given on top of my head compared from what M doing right now.

But.. I need to make a move... YESS, I need to get a fresh air to breathe.... HELPPP !!!!!

Hey.. I Got the Lowest Percentage !!!

I got my increment letter last week. Same goes to Ida. But Grace, Shirley & Angie hasn't get theirs until I wuz away on sick leave. Shirley called me while M at home. 'Dear Boss' has no choice but to bring up the their increment letters to their rooms. Initially we read that our 'Dear Boss' wanted us go down and collect our letters ourselves. But the girls are smarter, they don't mind getting their letters much later as we already know what to expect.. It will be within 4 to 5% only.

To my surprise, Grace are the superstar.. probably 'Dear Boss' like her new wavy curls and gave her 7%. Angie got 5%, Shirley has 4.7%, Ida shud be 4.2 or 4.5% as she didn't really happy with what she had. And his 'beloved secretary' being top of all.. only get 4.5% !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sad.. sad... after all I expected it already.. U juz wait 'Dear Boss' when I had my new appointment letter, I'll sure tell you that I deserved to earn more than what you think I deserve to earn. Hellooo... pleeasse... M a Diploma holder yeah, 'Dear Boss' !
